My husband took off work to come pick me up since “no rentals were available.” Finally we were called up to Shawns desk and asked what was going on, so we explained the situation, just for him to quickly interrupt us and while we gave him the details for him to go “yep, mmhm, yea.” And not even listen to our concerns. Once I entered Honda, at approximate 10:30am no one looked up at us. I immediately called Honda when and explained what was going on just to be told I needed an appointment to bring my car in, and that no rentals were available. We replaced all the parts and hoped for the best. Unfortunately it was left unsolved, no fault to Nicole and the techs who tried their best. They kept my car for over a week while they tried to figure out what was causing this issue. We worked with Nicole, who was absolutely accommodating and listened intently to our concerns. (They were bright red like a nascar drivers, and we used our own thermo gun to check the temp. Shawn is rude and doesn’t listen.īack in January (2020) we brought in my 2010 TSX (that we bought from rairdon in 2017) for an issue with my calipers dragging and heating up my rotors to around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Google Edmunds car dealership credit report scam. Needless to say, if I see a single hit I don't recognize. Thing is, I gave them my license so I could test drive a car, but they need my handwriting on that form in order to save their xxxxx in case they pulled my credit report while I was on a test drive. This is outright deviant and dangerous practice. They both got very aggressive and angry that I wouldn't fill out the form and said to quote, "THIS IS FEDERALLY MANDATED." That's absolute bull, it's bullying technique to get my credit report so they had more information to haggle with me with. no need for social!" I still declined siting that this form clearly was marked Honda FInancial Services Credit Application. I declined because I came with my own financing. They insisted it was just to prove who I am, "so fill out just the top 5 lines of this form. Honestly, I was prepared to not put up much of a fight to get it, but we never even got to numbers because Ty and his sales manager (neither of them is up on the staff page) insisted I couldn't start talking to them until I filled out a credit app. We drove up from Seattle with the family in tow to purchase a used 2015 Honda Touring Elite that was competitively priced ($36.8k). IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FINANCING, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT A CREDIT APP TO BUY A CAR. I am ever so grateful and am hopeful that my car will finally be repaired. He listened and is working towards some resolution for me even though this is not his problem. Late today I contacted the general manager of another local Honda dealership and explained my situation. I also called and asked to speak to their general manager and was told they do not have one. was closed so I again left voice messages and sent emails to Kris K. I went down yesterday (6/11/17) to look at the car and the rim had been replaced and the scratch and dent had been fixed but the other issues remain. said they would make it right and back it went to the local paint shop. She acknowledged that the damage was not there before going to the paint shop. Left several messages for Kris K., the service manager, but no response after several days so drove my car down to the dealership. Found one of the rims was damaged, there was a small dent and scratch in the rear panel, the trim between the drivers doors was scratched and the paint on the hood and other areas was rough like sand paper. When I picked up the car it was covered in a dusty/gritty substance. He confirmed the paint job was defective and since still under warranty they would fix so once again sent the car back to the local paint shop. Took the car back and spoke to the Northwest Honda representative who looked at the car. After several months and a number of car washes (by hand) the defects slowly reappeared. That did not work so took back the car and it was sent to a local paint shop and the imperfections seemed to be fixed. The paint job was defective and when brought to their attention was told it was water spots from their sprinkler system and just needed to be washed a few times. Purchased my new 2015 Honda Accord from Marysville Honda in October 2015.
